Game of Thrones - A Tale of King & Honor is now updated, with way sharper image quality, better sound mix and expanded screen time for characters and upcoming moments of importance later down the road.
As always I like to keep my changes rather quiet, but I find Film I to now be a vast improvement from what came before, mostly in terms of quality as well as important moments and fleshed out characters and foreshadowing for what is to come.

I just got down watching the first seven films (I’m moving over to the GOT Redeemed edit to finish the series while waiting for the final films to come out)
As someone who has never watched the series due to just feeling like how much episodes there are in the series and not enough time to really want to digest it all, this is a good way to watch it. I feel like I didn’t miss too much while being able understand most of the story. I will say that Film 7 (I think 6 too in some parts) had some jarring cuts here and there that I noticed like character teleporting a few feet or being cut off. Something I do like that did turn me off from the series, was the amount of sex and explicit scenes that were in the series. I’ve heard from others that they were there sometimes more unnecessarily than what was for the plot. While they still are here, I find them more tasteful than just put in there for the sake of shock of a checkbox for horny women lol.
My only gripe is the lack of subtitles after the first film. I really wish subtitles were made to help distinguish who was who. With so many characters it took me by film 6 to finally get their names.
Looking forward to the last of the films in the series coming.
Subtitles are being worked on.
There are now subtitles for Film I and Film II, with the rest to follow suit. It’s quite the task to create subtitles for them, and something I’ve postponed for quite a while, but I’m now doing it as my girlfriend requested it upon or recent rewatch.
As for the things you found jarring, could you send me a PM with info so I could analyze it? This way I could perfect and improve upon it for a re-release down the line.
