Believe me, I have grown up in a Christian church my whole life, and I have seen some Wacko Jacko things.

Once, when I was like 8 and lived in North Carolina (I live in PA now, thank God), this guy preached a sermon on how wearing casual clothes to church was unholy and that you shouldn't go to church if you don't dress up.

This whole Jedi to Jesus thing is nothing. I've seen much worse My parents want me to use my "talents" for the church. There is this class called "Media for Ministry" that they are urging my to do. I think I'll pass.

Really, I am not much of a Christian. Maybe, it is because my parents shove it down my throat, and quote the whole Bible to me when I get in trouble.

I cannot remember a day that they haven't quoted me a Bible verse or gave me a "sermon" on whatever.

I'm not an "anti-christ", but my parents just shove stuff down my throat and I don't want to be like them which is probably I am not very religious myself.

Don't worry about it, man. You can't live through your parents' faith. You have to find it for yourself. That way, if you ever decide to become a Christian, your faith will be your own, and you will be believing it based on your own experience.

Some of those ministers are just plain nuts. Many of those guys, especially southern ones, don't even know the true meaning of having a religion. They care more about how everyone looks, and watching out for everyone, that they forget what the whole purpose of any religion is. Myself, I'm an agnostic, I don't deny nor acknowledge the existance of a god. I still respect religion, however. I'm no Bill Maher, who bashes religion yet I'm no Bill O'Reilly who would have it forced down people's throats if he could. But when people like those ministers act the way they do, well, they just give Christianity a bad name. When someone is honest and sincere about their religion, that is someone I can repect. Take someone like Joel Osteen, that enthusiastic TV pastor from Houston. He tells people how to improve their life, and all of the great things about life, rather than telling everyone that they will burn in hell for everything they do. He is someone I can certainly respect, because he knowns the true purpose of his religion.

Many of those southerners are hypocrites and ignorant. Not stupid, just ignorant. I too grew up in a conservative christian household. But, I was able to somehow make my own decisions about what I believe, rather than what my relatives, or the people I know believe. The puritans who made this DVD are probably some of those people who bash star wars simply because it (gasp) makes people think, or (double gasp) makes a mention of a different religion.
