I'm happy to hear that people are pleased with the 5.1 upmix process.  I'm in the process of using it on a few of titles that had LPCM 2.0 audio only in order to locate areas where it can be improved even further.  I have a 5.1 DTS upmix of Short Circuit 2 that has a couple of spots I need to work on at the moment.

Thanks Team Blu for this release. It looks and sounds pretty good.

Also Thanks to Space Kaijuu for the Trailer Re-edits. Saved me some work. You put my Tri-Star Logo to good use ;-)

I also wanted to take a moment and give Deathcab a proper shout-out.  The cover and lobby cards on this project are excellent and look even better in person.  Keep up the good work, man.  Really digging all of your WIP covers on the upcoming projects.

The bonus material suprised me again (like it did on NTLD and Conan), and that's a huge compliment, because I'm no fan of extras beside trailers. 

Speaking of which, the Space Kaijuu remastered HD trailer is icing on the cake (awesome!). If you're reading this, please, we need more of it!

Let's not forget the menus, they were just how I like them: simple, effective and with a great soundtrack to boot.

I agree. It was a real treat when I found this Blu-ray in my mail. Thanks you so much dark_jedi for sending me a copy. Team Blu has done a superb job with this project. The quality of the transfer is quite good. I especially like the custom 5.1 Dolby Digital track that was created from the PCM 2.0. It really opens up the sound and never sounds artificial. The "extras" are very nice and surprised me especially the 6 mini Lobby cards that are included and printed on thick card stock. The authoring of the Blu-ray is very professional and is of retail quality. Great job Team Blu.

Truly a gorgeous piece of work all the way around.

i still cant believe they haven't put this on blu ray officially.

the fact they only put the first one in 3000 limited edition was ridiculous, but part 2 has always been my favourite.

what type of settings are needed or is it a simple image burn?

or if someone is kind enough to burn one for me, that would be great, i will gladly pay for blu ray costs and sending costs.

this is my favourite vampire movie alongside The Lost Boys and Vamp.

Might we see this on the spleen anytime soon?

Great job by Dark Jedi and the Blu Team. The transfer looks amazing :)

Another great release. Video and audio are incredible. Its nice to have different options when it comes to cover art. I decided to go with the black cover so it would match the original I got from TT. Thanks to all responsible for this spectacular release.

I've only had a few moments to check the release so far... (My wife gave birth to our first child a week ago, 6 weeks early). But from what I've seen thus far I'm thoroughly impressed.  I always approach each release with a certain amount of trepidation because... "How good can a fan edit be?". I've been blown away each time and this release from what I've seen thus far doesn't disappoint.  Teamblu has knocked another one out of the park.  I'll be sure to post a more thorough review when I can finally watch the film (hopefully this weekend).  Thanks again Dark_Jedi  For pointing me in the direction of the files!

This is now online at myspleen for those interested in checking it out.  I plan on watching it this evening.  I'll report back once I've seen the disc.
