A quick reminder to the folks out there in the UK (most regions).

Look out for the free Star Wars - Heroes and Villains DVD’s free in the Sun and the News of the World this coming Saturday and Sunday.

More details here.

I did mention this elsewhere but I thought I would start a new thread to try to make sure that nobody missed out.

Meridian and Carlton regions get theirs next weekend.

Here in the Yorkshire region, I got my "Heroes" DVD this morning.

20 minutes of the Anthony Daniels introduced "Heroes" , a EpIII trailer and two EpIII webdocs.

Not bad value for free!!

People are paying up to 15 quid for these two discs on ebay.......

The bad news: I looked everywhere and the sun was sold out today.
The good news: I came back here, and realised I was in a region that gets the dvd's next weekend.

I'll be sure to get up early and look for tomorrows mail on sunday though, ta for that russs15. Wonder if that'll be going for silly money on ebay too? Some people are paying 15 quid for the heroes and villains dvd's? Wow. "Those guys must really be desperate"

can someone put these 2 dvds up on a torrent site in uncompressed dvd iso format? wouldn't mind seeing that new musical journey bonus dvd either.

They came with the newspaper? So it's not exactly "free" eh?

I do not know about any torrents as yet but "A Musical Journey" has been posted as both a compressed VCD and in full DVD format over on Usenet.

"Heroes" also got posted too and "Villains" is planned to be posted as well.

Coz you guys are all British, you should check out all the latest film mags if you already haven't.
'Empire' mag has a very good special on SW, along with a very cool, but annoying, Vader breathing thing.
Aslo 'SFX' has a special SW collecteors edition magazine (which is superb), with free sticker album and stickers. (whoooo).

For all our non-UK persons. I'm hoping that when my area gets the Heroes and Villains DVD's (next weekend) to do a single disc edition of both features PLUS The Mail On Sunday CD as a DVD-ROM feature. Stay tuned!

...and i just watched it there now, it's no doubt the best of the discs.

It's fasinating how spoiler free it is, it was smart in the doc that Anthony did'nt say a thing about ep3, no clips no spoilers.

He does'nt tell you about the Sidious/Palpatine mystery (nice one ) ....

but he shouldn't had said that Senator Palpatine was a villian.



More of it would have been brilliant, here's some of the features in the discs:


- 20 min documentry - "Villians" presented by Anthony Daniels.

- Theatrical Trailer of Episode III - Revenge Of The Sith.

- Ep3 Web Doc - "Creating General Grievous".

- Ep3 Web Doc - "2 worlds, One Movie".


Overall both of them Heroes and Villians were great DVDs.
