So what's the deal in France now? More kids upset they're not getting extra tax payer subsidized handouts and another 6 weeks mandated vacation?

I think it has to do with the older workers have gotten this sort of stuff for years, and now the goverment is taking it away. When you end goverment programs like this, the people who miss out always get angry and feel slighted. See the Social Security debate here in the USA.
