But Maul didn't realized Kenobi had a 'saber until it was too late. Remeber Obi's was knocked down the shaft, and Obi-wan force-lifted Jinn's without even seeing it.

A little brainless action now and then never hurt anyone. Lighten up.

Actually thats what makes it so bad in my opinion. Obi-wan started to move the saber toward him before he jumped out of the pit. Maul should have been able to detect this use of the force (remember Vader was able to sense Obi-wan on the first death star and Obi wasnt even use the force). So there is no reason Maul should have been taken by suprise by Obi-wan's actions. And even if he was, his response was so slow, a seasoned fighter like Maul would have responded instantly to the movement and probably cut Obi in half on his way up even without being force sensative.

There are good, inteligent movies with absolutely no plot whatsoever. Waking Life is one of them, one of my favorite movies.
“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nazi Reich Marshal Hermann Goering

Seen walking tall? It rules. No plot, character, or any of the thing that intelectuals like, but it's just a fun--and stupidly short--movie.

No characters? So it's like, 2 hours of grass growing?

Well... forget the plot, we want action!

The problem with the Force in movies is that they can't compare to novels. In novels, you can have a thousand Jedi flying through the air with the greatest of ease. In movies, people would be like "Enough of this Flying Tiger crap" and walk out. In a novel, a Jedi can make a thousand little things happen. In movies, we get a nod or a wiggling finger.

Which is the more foolish, the fool (the OT) or the fool who follows (the PT)?

I agree.

Not just in Novels, but in the games as well, the Force is a lot more powerful than it is in the movies.

If you want action, start praying for a movie to be made out of the NJO booke/novel Unifying Force. It must be on of the most epic battles in All ofSW!!!!
