I did find myself laughing to some of the video. Until I felt the urge to take the G4 tower and swing it into the guy's head.

no on ever said that PCs dont have problems.

No, but this guy is kind of an idiot; I mean, as I said before, why not stop pinching pennies and buy a machine that can do all the stuff he wants (a workstation)?

I KNEW EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED A COMPUTER TO DO BEFORE I BOUGHT ONE. I RESEARCHED BOTH pcs AND MACs FOR A MONTH. MAC FIT MY NEEDS.

That's the same thing I did for grad school because I was going into film studies as my original emphasis in the communication department (I wound up changing my mind to web design, but I still use a Mac for that).

I opt for the former. Wouldn't want to give you too much credit.

Be careful. I think "putting words together" is what Shimraa does.

Yes, but @ least motti uses some sort of jigsaw puzzle logic when putting words together. I have no idea what Shimmy does, and I don't really want to know.

I'm just trying to catch Motti before he falls into Shimraa-inspired word antics. Better to stop him early, eh?

actually Shirmaa is right both the mac and the pc's have their pro's and con's. For instance, macs are better for profession applicatins like photoshop and audio and video stuff. Pcs on the other hand are more for layman users. they work great for data entry, word processing and such. The one thing that neither is really good at is being strong render farms. That is exactly what the SGI workstation is used for! So don't be bashing either of the machines. They are like people each is unique and has it's own personality.

As far as crahing the system goes, i have both a mac and a pc and I haven't crashed either of them once! The pc is running on Windows 2k pro, so you can explain that one away. the mac is just not crashable as far as I've seen. Of course one time I had to force quit a program that was not responding to me... But that wasn't necessarily crashing the machine.

I would love to get an SGi machine and a Unix OS one of these days. Just to see what that works well with and whatnot.
