So I'm switching from the Evil Empire's browser to Firefox (Join the Alliance all of you). I have noticed some strange cookie issues, though, with this site and Firefox. Namely, it isn't doing a good job of remembering which posts were new the last visit and expiring them for the current visit. Anybody else having this issue? I've cleared out my cookies from Firefox entirely (they were imports from IE) and am rebuilding them from scratch.

I'm having the same problem, but honestly, this browser is otherwise so much better than Netscap or IE that I don't care.

I cannot access my bank's website, and sometimes I have some problems with the ERP I work with, but I'm using it at work. At home, I just didn't have time to go on and download it and install it, but I will.

I really haven't had a problem so far. Go Firefox!

I haven't had any problems with Firefox related to this site. It always shows me what is new and is accurate about it.

I have had problems getting some functionality on some sites in Firefox. But the few negatives I have had are far outweighed by the positives. I love this browser and will never go back.

Well... try this website on Firefox and on IE.

What am I supposed to do on that page specifically? Just looking at the homepage, it looks the same in both browsers.

Weird. The layout looks all wrong in my Firefox. But maybe it's me.

I use IE and Firefox at work.
I used Opera (and IE for banking/FTP) at home.

It might be because I'm on Mac Firefox right now. Maybe it's the PC version that's knocking it off.

I've never had any problems with Firefox and it runs a hell of a lot faster than IE imo.

I just got home and installed FireFox (something I should have done a long time ago), and it looks OK here. I am not sure what's going on, since at the office, in two different computers using firefox, both showed the page with a messed up layout. Perhaps our server had some old version of the page cached? Nah can't be it...

I wonder if it could in any way be related to this kind of thing:

Why doesn't MSN work with Opera- from Feb. 2003

If it can be done with Opera, why couldn't someone do it with Firefox?

After killing all my cookies and starting them afresh, the problem has gone away. I suppose it has issues with importing cookies from IE, but why, I don't know. A cookie is a cookie is a cookie.

I don't think this is the case, even though I belive Microsoft did it for the hotmail website. I'll post pics later so you can see.

Something that annoys me is that, as far as I can tell, you can't set Firefox as the browser MSN Messenger opens your hotmail box in--even if it's your default browser. Not a huge inconvenience, but sometimes I forget and and open IE, which in turn opens of a bunch of pop-ups even after I close it...

Girl scout cookies. Samoas in particular.

But then again, if I had anything related to Girl Scouts on my computer, that would be a bad thing.
