Then lock them inside a hermetically sealed lead trunk and bury them deep beneath your house.
I bought the Blu-rays because I love Harmy’s work and I’m not a pirate.
I enjoy what I’ve seen of Harmy’s work, I just can’t let the SEs or the PT into my home. I’m afraid they contaminate the other movies.
It seems like people are really embracing the new characters. In fact, the big question people ask me now about Star Wars is, “Are Finn and Poe gay lovers?” And really how the f*ck would I know? My second husband left me for a man, so my gaydar isn’t exactly what you’d call Death Star level quality. ----Carrie Fisher

I have mine in a box far from my regular movies. It’s not hard. And hyperbole isn’t going to get around the rules about owning the media people are making fan edits/restorations with.

Go to a store, buy the box set, then drive to a cliff and throw it off (but keep the receipt).

This, +1, yup, top gun high five gif, etc.
Buy used, throw away everything except the so-called Original Trilogy discs, glue those three together (shiny side in), run a string through them, and suspend them inside a wall cavity, or even a hollow tree in the yard. You can pull them out if you ever need to prove ownership, but there will be no risk of an unsuspecting houseguest or innocent child accidentally being exposed to the films on them.
At least that’s what I did.

I don’t have the other restorations. I have the GOUT. I saw Harmy’s demo reel/mini documentary on youtube.

I just about watched all that was on the bonus disc. Funny they didn’t call it OT Bonus disc cause most of the stuff was about the OT. I already saw Star Wars Tech when it was on tv, I just didn’t watch the last one. It’s cool that they included some youtube videos on the fan spoofs. My favorite didn’t make it tho, Star Wars Gangsta Rap 2. I know why tho. As it is it’s pretty vulgar and I imagine if they included the whole song it would be even worst. Gangsta Rap 1 wasn’t worth including IMO. I don’t like that one or 3. Now to take a break before I watch the rest of the extras, sometime after that ep 1-3 and 5 with commentary. Gonna take a while. You really get alot for your money with this set.

I’m curious how the bonus features of njvc’s set compare up to the Offical release in your mind?
I never seen njvc’s special features. I imagine he copied the blu ray special features and some other ones from youtube, so his are probably better?
there’s a few parts/mistakes I’d like to see again. Like that one painting of a hallway in IV that was painted the wrong way so it looked like the wall and hallway bent when filmed at the wrong angle
Have I missed something. Where’s that ?

I assume he means the detention block hallway.

I wish I could find a pic of that.

Ahh, okay thanks. I thought I missed something on the Blockade Runner or something. The ‘bent’ hallway threw me.
I’m still working on the blu rays. I been watching a each section once a day. I finished Episodes I,III,IV,V,VI. I just need to finish II’s special features. It sure takes a while. When I go through these again it’ll take alot of time too. I think the blu rays are really well put together. I’m kinda suprised that the OT seems to have more special features than the PT tho. Since the PT was made in the special feature era. Do the DVD’s have more special features that aren’t on the blu-rays? If so I may put that on my list of things to get.
Yes, IIRC the special features are completely different and much better. The documentaries are fascinating (although more from a trainwreck perspective) while I found the Blu special features a little boring after a while.
I guess I’ll get them sometime then.

Hold out and see what’s released for the anniversary this year.
I would put this in my sig if I weren’t so lazy.
