Yup, I know. We’ve connected, but for now, we’re continuing to work on our own Felicity projects separately.

It’s still going! I just had to slow down a lot due to real life commitments and hard drive issues, but I’m slowly picking the pace back up. Hope to have S1 finished in the next few months.

My wife has the original music CDs. I dont know if that would be helpful or not to you. This is a really cool project. I didnt know the originally aired show used one set of music, and then the DVD potentially used another (she has all the DVD as well) and now what’s available to stream through Hulu has a third!

Side note, I downloaded what I could find from the web and my wife says it matches the DVD but I dont know if it’s just a DVD rip or something else.

Thanks for your interest! All updates can be seen in the first post in this thread. I’m still working on these, but real life has unfortunately carved out a lot of my time recently so I’m not as fast as I used to be.

Hello! I’m currently watching Felicity for the FIRST TIME. I know, I know…but I was graduating high school when the show ended and wasn’t allowed to watch it back then. I found my perfect moment to watch it now as I’m getting over an illness. I was so distracted by the bad music and knew it couldn’t be right. This curiosity led me to do some digging and land here. There is an Apple Playlist by Derek Paiva that lists songs like Save Tonight by Eagle Eye Cherry, Spill the Wine by War, I love you Anyways by Travis and I am just gutted (not really, but soul punched) that I’m missing out on the experience of these songs that were specifically paired with moments on the show. Instead I’m getting some sort of PBS reminiscent ditties. Here to encourage and thank you for your efforts in your project! Let me know if there are other outlets to follow you on please!

Yes, but those 2 are pretty different, the original release (from Buena Vista) between 2002 and 2005 has a few original songs left intact and it looks like more thought went into replacing certain songs.

The 2012/13 release (from LionsGate) is much inferior since the few original songs left in the first release got replaced. And even some of the replacement songs are replaced in this new release (and they aren’t as good) meaning there are 3 different versions of the soundtrack. That 3rd version is the one used for streaming services.
The video is also a lot more compressed since they crammed the eps into 3 discs instead of the usual 6.

There also was a re-release in 2009 (from ABC studios, new name of Buena Vista) which as far as I know contains the same discs as the original release.

Bottom line, if you’d like to own the dvds, definitely try to find the original 6 disc release for each season.
