Do any of the following exist in the form of “backups” or “archives”?
*Kenner Toy commercials (pre-1997)
*Cereal or fast food commercials (pre-1997)
*Public Service announcements
*George Lucas in Love
*Hardware Wars
*Homemade Lego movies
Just curious.
May midochlorian particles flow freely in your general direction.
George Lucas in Love is now out-of-print. With the recent push in interest of Star Wars related material, I have seen some sites ask for up to $89.99 for the DVD. However, other sites I searched at Yahoo! Shopping still have some for about $12. It can also be had on official VHS on eBay for about $2 - $3.
For what it's worth, the DVD also has a few other spoof-type short films on it: "Film Club" (a really excellent Fight Club parody), "Evil Hill" (a not-particularly-funny takeoff of Notting Hill with Dr. Evil in the Hugh Grant role), and "Swing Blade" (a twisted combination of Swingers and Sling Blade). Well worth the eight bucks I paid for it.

I jsut finished a new version of the Kenner Toy commercials (pre-1997) on DVDr - Put a menu on a "VHS" capture - The ads are FULL SCREEN this time and in color a bit fuzzy and sometimes there is a bit of noise in the audio but you can watch them
