With the Wii in stores now, I just thought I'd make a thread devoted to Nintendo.
DOOM is still my favorite game of all time, but I thought it'd be fun to pick out our favorite Nintendo games, and why they're our favorite.

Mine is Ocarina of Time, because I like playing as Adult Link.

Oh man, this is an incredibly, incredibly tough one. I'll just have to list some of my all time favorites. I can't pick one.

Super Mario 64/SM64 DS
----I love this one. I've beat it tons of times and its still insanely entertaining.

Pokemon Red/Blue, PKMN Gold/Silver, PKMN Ruby/Sapphire, PKMN FireRed/Leaf Green
----Pokemon is one my all time favorite series. They have an insane amount of replay value and the old ones are still just as fun as the new ones.

Before I got the GC my only Nintendo was the NES, and I have no time to devote to gaming now, really, so I'd have to say the original SMB is my all-time fave.

Either Super Metroid or Super Mario World.

And Ocarina of Time is really high on my list too.

As for the game I probably enjoyed more than any other in my entire life, it would be A Link to the Past. There are plenty of other games I enjoyed, and plenty of other games I would rather play right now than A Link to the Past, but I cannot think of any game I ever enjoyed playing more. Coming in at a distant second, would be Monkey Island 2, and Grim Fandango. Dark Forces, Ocarina of Time, and Golden eye rank somewhere in there too.

Ocarina of Time, so far Twilight Princess is good but not in the caliber of OoT.
Played it many times when I was younger.

Dang, this is tough.

I'm going to have to go with my favorite game of all time--Metroid Fusion for the GBA.

Though everything Zelda, Smash Bros, Metroid, and Mario is gold...

'Cept those awful CDI games.

Goldeneye 64 = best first person shooter ever made, great for multiplayer

Although Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask doesn't get much love, I feel it was the most unique and best game in the entire series.

Mario Kart 64 = best party game ever!!!

My firm belief is that Ocarina of Time is the best game ever. Outstanding storyline, great gameplay (and the Master Quest on GameCube is even better). I liked the gameplay better on Majora's Mask though, but overall I didn't think the game was as good.

I'm starting to like Twilight Princess better than both of them. It mixes elements from Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time, and I'm liking the story so far as well. I'm about 35 hours into the game and I'd like to think I'm at least halfway finished.

Besides Zelda, I always thought that Goldeneye was one of the best Nintendo games ever. I used to play the hell out of that game when it first came out. I don't think I could go back and play it anymore though, as I simply refuse to play FPS's with a controller anymore. After playing Unreal Tournament with a mouse and keyboard nonstop for about a year, I could never go back to the controller. I can't play Halo on XBox either.

You never played a video game until you were 13?!

This happened to me as well. I was an NES and Sega freak for most of the early and mid-90's, then I got onto PC based games and have never been able to get back. The keyboard and mouse are like extensions of my body. Console controllers just can't give you the same accuracy. I'm hoping the Wii-Mote will help me enjoy a console again (once I can get it!) because the PC is effectively dead as a gaming platform.

Zion you ever play Far Cry? Awesome, AWESOME game.

I never could get into PC gaming. I've only played a few games on the computer, most recently Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII and only because I didn't have a PlayStation at the time.

My all-time favorite game on Nintendo would be either Pac-Man, Donkey Kong Country, or The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time. I haven't played the Twilight Princess game yet, but it's on my Christmas wish list.

Majora's Mask is excellent, and I still think no game before or since has ever really made you feel like you were in a living, breathing world where your actions mattered better than that game.

Tecmo Super Bowl for the 8-bit NES. Tecmo Bowl was great fun, but TSB took it to the next level while still maintaining everything that made the original fun.

For me, the sports games always had the best longevity because you didn't "solve" them or complete them. As long as you had a friend around, they were always fun.

Edit: Wow. I used the word "fun" three times.

For some reason, out of nowhere, I remembered I didn't mention the DS on this thread!

DS: Mario Kart DS

Oh man, I changed my mind.

Star Fox 64. Hands down the most awesome game I've ever played. It has the most replay value of any game I've ever played.
