Fan Film collection ~ TREMORS IN THE FORCE

Hey there guys!

I'm baggin' on my Tremors 3 Project....

I have started to DL all the fan films again and I will creating an all NEW Tremors Collection with some of the better sources of old films that have become available over this last year - and I will be using a better encoder this time around (the sound drifts on some films - I'll be using the Canopus ProCoder with 2nd pass VBR, unless anyone can suggest a better encoder ).

I'll most likely start the authoring of the set in February but will keep you all posted here in this thread - IF any of you have better sources (originals,SWF to mpeg captures or old VHS tapes ~ Dark Redemption had a real VHS release) and wanna help out, please email me and we'll see if we can work something out. (contributors will also get copies on DVD once the set[s] are done)

If you have links to films (other then theforce.net or Ifilms), suggestions or have found new films please share those links here in this thread.

UPDATES to come...

Hey gang!

I've been busy with both my Datsuns and I will be spending the next few weeks or longer working on my car and a friends getting them ready for Spring and Summer!

SO................

Who wants to help me convert video for my Tremors in the Force Collection?

I have 5.40gigs of Fan Films (including the ones on Tremors 1 and Tremors 2) + about 10 SVCD's of other films that I can no longer download that I would LOVE to have converted to DVD for the NEXT incarnation of the TREMORS IN THE FORCE collection.

I will mail them to WHOEVER is truly interested in taking on this project (converting can take FOREVER with 2nd Pass VBR, filtering and such) I'd like to do the authoring to match all my latest white menus BUT if someone is feeling creative I'd be MORE than happy to see the menus that some of you out there can create. SO if there are ANY takers please email me here at Rikter_Blaksvn@yahoo.com and I will get them off to you ASAP!

Word to the Spookies.......

colour me interested. What I need to know is what programs to use. I currently use TMPGEnc for my video conversion, DVD Lab for my burning and Photoshop 7 for my menu screens and such. Would this be adequate, or will I require more sophisticated programs?

hello guys,
i've recently gotten into the wonderful world of star wars and other fan films..
i sure wish that the people who put these online would release svcd versions or even xvids
so we could watch then on tv with no loss in picture...
i've been looking for films i have'nt seen yet like the vanquished foe..
revenge of the jawa...
cold patrol...
a downloadable version of darth vader's psycic hotline...
fan films rock i'd love to get a better copy of the dark redemption and knightquest...
i've transferred some fan films to dvd ...
if you want a decent reencoder try main concept mpeg encoder version 1.4...
i was reading on here about someone having audio sync issues probably with broken allegiance, seeds of darkness etc...
well main concept clears that up..
there are a few like house wars that dont work...
if anyone ever wanted to release higher quality fanfilms why dont they ever try bit torrent............. star trek new voyages released fanfilm dvds on bit torrent...
do you guys know if the people who make fanfilms of star wars release in nicer quality????
imagine what some of these could look like on a big screen tv!!!
well sorry for talking to much i'm just hoping i can get better copies of the fan films i have ...
i'd also like to see ones i've missed
may the force be with you
sincerely

Dude - a Ute? SWEET!

I've got two Datsun 510's - a 1972 2 door and a 1971 Station Wagon

AND I'll get the DVD with the raw files on them VERY VERY soon!

Damn you Rik...

That was the car that killed my dog some years ago.
