Correct.

You also remember in I, Jedi that there was a character from Neeja's day that was called Desertwind? Is it mere coincidence that Neeja is entering battle with a guy from Tattooine?

It's what Thrawn would have become if he had lived.

I made it in five minutes. Gimme a break.

And for the record, Thatone was actually made using paintshop. By Jasc, not MS.

Who is that? In the picture?
“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nazi Reich Marshal Hermann Goering

Some guy who goes to my school.

I figured he wouldn't mind, especially if he never finds out. Then again, he could be a member of these boards and is allready planning to kill me. D'oh.

He looked like George Lucas to me.

Moll.

I'll tell him you said that.

He hates George Lucas as much as I do.

I read awhile back about there being a trailer made for the New Jedi Order series of books. It was voiced-over/narrated by Mark Hamill and aired on the Sci-Fi channel.

Does anyone know where I could download this from?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Usually when something like this is ignored, it means that no body knows anything about it. It sounds interesting, though.

I really wish I knew what you were talking about.

I just thought that posting this in the EU discussion thread might get better results. I also found some more information about it.

This is from SW.com

In October 1999, Del Rey released Vector Prime by R.A. Salvatore, the first of 22 planned novels in a series called The New Jedi Order. For The New Jedi Order, Del Rey and Lucasfilm responded to fan's requests for a well-planned story line overarching the entire series, books released in the chronological order they appear on the timeline, significant and lasting consequences for the heroes, and the ability to follow each book or just selected titles.

In order to introduce the public to this exciting new series, Vector Prime became the first Star Wars novel to be featured in a television commercial. Mark Hamill, the actor who played Luke Skywalker, agreed to supply the narrative voice for the TV spot which ran on the Sci-Fi cable channel. For those who missed it, starwars.com is pleased to make it available for viewing here in QuickTime 4 format.

Old news usually gets deleted, though it would be awesome to have.

But a NJO animated series, also narrarated by Mark Hamill, would be better.

I saw it, it wasn't much. No real footage, it just sort of panned around on some OT footage and zoomed in on some cover art of VP.

Oh, yeah, but it was technically a deleted part of Destiny's way, Right.

BTW, this gives me an idea...

hey all, I'm back. Just a quick question on the EU books, How far into the future are they planning to go? And do you guys think that the star wars machine will die down once Episode III is out at theaters?

I don't know... There is a SW TV series planned, and if it's sucsesful, then there's no way. Also, the SW video games are getting better: I wouldn't even be posting this now if not for KOTOR.

As for how far into th future... I guess as far as Del Ray wants them to. As long as the droids live, there will be movie characters there to "tell the stories."
