How you can post so late when logic would dictate that you, being younger than I,() need more sleep, but for some reason post really late as if you don't need sleep.

I thought maybe if it was actually 8 when I thought it was 11, that would explain it, but I guess not.

Back on topic: What did you think about Anakin dying?

If you would have asked me what I thought about him dying before I read the NJO I'd say "Good Riddance"

But after I actually read the NJO I found that I actually cared about his character.

More to the point, I feel that his death was a necessary one storywise and it really brings home that the Solo family is not static.

I'd never actually read much with any of the Solo Kids before NJO.

I went from Thrawn, to Hand of Thrawn, to NJO. Why did you hate pre NJO Anakin so much?

I think the majority of the SW EU generally disliked the Solo kids.

But the Solo kids were just...its hard to explain if you didn't read pre-NJO stuff about the Solo children.

Repeatedly find solutions with his brother and sister to problems that Luke Skywalker and everyone else in the family could not figure out.

Think of episode one where Anakin flies the Naboo starfighter("oops," "maybe its this one") and destroys the droid ship accidentally.

Now multiply that by 20 and replace Anakin with the Solo trio.
