I just bought I, Jedi tonight.

At first the first-person perpective was a bit off-putting, but I think I'm getting into it.

In fact, just look at my New Sig.

I want to read that one, sometime. I also hope to get to the Han Solo Trilogy eventually. And to the Clone Wars. Oh, and the NJO...too many books, so little time. Oh, well, at least the Thrawn Trilogy is a blast.

Which Han Solo Trilogy are you planning on getting? The AC Crispin, Brian Daley, or both?

Can someone please explain to me why there are two Hansolo trilogies covering the same period???

Well, they're really not covering the same period, the Brian Daley series was written in the mid-1980s right after ROTJ if I'm not mistaken and take place (I think) 4 years before ANH and IMO have that same sort of feel as the Lando Trilogy. The AC Crispen trilogy was made maybe 10 years later and I think the last one was published in 1996 or 97 and lead right up to the cantina scene in ANH. The AC Crispin trilogy is IMO the superior one, but you do have to give credit to Brian Daley b/c he had nothing but the films, the lando trilogy and Splinter of the Mind's eye to draw info from.

Like 11 years ago.

Edit: Daley that is.

Please tell me that the eventual pay-off in I, Jedi is good.

I can't get myself motivated into reading it further.

Why not, bored already?

I read it quite a bit over last weekend, but I haven't picked it up all week. I've been busy with homework, and when not that, I've been playing Rachet and Clank III obsessively.

I know what you mean about not having enough hours in a day.

Is there a cure for this addiction. I mean your namesake did give the game another 5/5 on Xplay.

So technically morgan did...

I'm getting this thread off topic. Meh!! Maybe I'll read some more over the weekend. After I complete RnC on challenge mode.

Yes...read...books...save the gaming talk for the gaming thread.

When there's so little to talk about when it comes to novels and so much when it comes to games, it's hard not for these threads to run together.

I still haven't even read more than the preface to Shatterpoint!

You could just get the audiobook off of Limewire or Kazaa and save you the trouble of actually turning pages

Can't you burn it to a CD?

Burn it to an MP3 disc and play it on your DVD player.

You know what I'm gonna say.

Besides, I've allready bought the books, so I might as well read them the new fangled way: Paper, ink, and the like.

I just don't understand why they couldn't be on the internet like most things.
