Hey where can I get the original editions of Expanded universe?
I mean the ones that werent fucked with to be consistant with Attack of The Clones.
Fine, mister Lucas, while you're at it why dont you replace Lando with will smith?

Uhh ... buh? Anything published before 2002, I guess, would be un-fucked-with. You can get them at book stores, computer software stores, gaming stores, comic shops, used video game shops, wherever else EU things are sold.

None of it has really been retconned for AOTC. It was the Essentials Guides that retrconned all of those Boba Fett stories, saying that they were all "false stories Fett spread about himself to keep his past a mystry." The Essential Guides then say that AOTC was his actual history. But, of course, you can take it any way you want. Sense you don't like prequels and probably don't consider them part of your personal canon, you can simply ignore the Essential Guides, and enjoy the old Boba Fett stories for what they used to be.

ah ok so how do I know if they are the originals and not the editions that were edited to be consistant with the prequals?

You know, like how RA Salvatore changed the Icewind Dale trilogy to be more consistant with the dark elf trilogy.

To my knowledge, they never changed any of the books. If anything, they would have changed a few things around about the clone wars in the thrawn trilogy, but they didn't.

I agree with you adam, guides and reference books have always been a good way to repair, or just precise, contradictions in the SW universe.

And I'd just want to say that there were already many mistakes and contradictions in the EU before the PT...
For example: I don't remember in which book is it, but at a moment, it's said that Obi-Wan and Owen Lars are brothers (!?)...
All that is pretty much normal, SW is a huge universe, and many different author have worked on it. But it's clear that the PT has gave many confusions. Some times, it's like Lucas has never wrote his stories thinking of the EU. Fortunately, there are some people at Lucasfilm Licensing who do their best to "fix" mistakes...

But one of the biggest contradiction has been made recently. It's about the outer rim mission of Obi-Wan and Anakin. We all know where they have been in Clone Wars series, but it seems that a book, wrote before, tells another story... pretty weird for a such important event...

That was the ROTJ novelization. Also, another notable contradiction in the EU novels was in Splinter of the Mind's Eye, with the sexual attraction present between Luke and Leia. Although I suppose that would be normal if you weren't aware someone was your sibling.
