Sorry to bump again, but has anyone had any luck syncing this to the 4k disc? I’ve tried it and the timing is all over the place and I lack patience in cutting it all. If anybody has attempted please let me know!

Wait, never mind! Thanks a bunch. How would I go about syncing this to the film itself? Is there a specific release of Evil Dead II that I need to sync it up with? Or do I have to do it manually via editing?

The mono syncs to the 25th Anniversary Blu-ray

Any progress done on this? The video on the 4k is really nice, would be perfect if we could sync the mono to it.

EDIT:

Kind user over at fanres posted how to sync up the track with the UHD

"The video track from the Studio Canal UHD runs at 24fps whereas the 25th Anniversary BD runs at 23.976fps. That’s why it doesn’t sync.

You need to remux the UHD video track with a frame rate setting of 24000/1001 then add a delay of +15223ms to the LD audio track."

I used mkvmerge. A Couple of minutes to mux and it was all done. Perfect.
