I thought it handled the ending of ROTJ just fine. I like characters that go through stuff. If they don’t go through stuff, it’s just a documentary, and a bad one at that.

The fact is that TFA was such a train-wreck that the whole trilogy is basically lost. Even though it does not look very promising at this point (another major rehash is hinted) I will give the film a fair chance.

It’s a good title (if predictable, remember that one guy who guessed TFA? Lot more than one this time). My only problem with it is that it has the same noun as ROTJ so confusion will begin when referring to the films by just the noun.

Exactly. There’s nothing in ROTJ that states everything would be peaceful and nice for the rest of eternity so I don’t see people’s problem. Even though I’m fine with how the ST opens I would have preferred to have everything be peaceful so we can enjoy the tranquility so that everything can turn to shit in front of our very eyes.

I actually quite like the title. It has a very nice and minimalist quality to it, but a lot of layers as well.
So… which Jedi? Plural Jedi? One Jedi? Historically? Presently?
Luke? Rey? Ben? Another?

The title seems pretty boring to me, but the quality of the title rarely says much about the quality of the movie, so we’ll see. I expect to enjoy it more than TFA, since there’s less room for rehashing (I would think). I’ve only seen TFA once, though, and I’d gladly watch it again, given the opportunity, to see if my opinion changes after a second viewing.

Luke should definitely train Jedi and Rey should become a Jedi. But not in a rehash way.
