ADD is no longer part of the DSM. They chose to instead label with ADHD and provide subtypes.

With that being said, ADHD is more accurately described as an inability to regulate attention. It's less of "I can't stop shifting my attention" and more of "I can't stop paying attention to this even though I don't want to anymore" or "I just can't pay attention to this at all".

Finally, your specialized knowledge comes in handy on a Star Wars discussion board!  You knew this day would come.  Now go treat George Lucas for ADHD.  We, the experts, have diagnosed him.

I neither made the claim nor support the assumption that GL has ADHD.

What I said was—from my POV—completely unrelated and intended to clear-up a common misconception.

I'm trying to decide if I should be offended at this point or not.  I certainly don't think enjoying making sarcastic and silly posts makes me a candidate for an ADD diagnosis.  And I do love when people start throwing around an autistic diagnosis on someone they don't know, especially given they probably don't actually know someone autistic in real life.  Or even more likely, do know someone autistic, but don't know it.

If you say TNG is better than TOS, though, and that all of Roddenberry's worst ideas were actually great ideas, I'll hate you for life.

 Well...  I got busy!  Honestly, I started looking into the Star Wars preservation efforts at that time, but I didn't actually get a 720p disc burned until a few weeks ago, so I really wasn't active until now.
