It has to be recent pics, because I remember Carrie Fisher saying that Disney was getting them both personal trainers to get in shape for Episode 7.

According to Debbie Reynolds, Carrie lost 40 pounds in preparation for the role. However, I have a feeling that Carrie won't get the same amount of screen time as Mark or Harrison. In any case, all three are looking great.
I wonder if the 3 main older OT characters are going to be like they were in the OT, something new or like how the actors are now. I'd like to see a Princess Leia that acted/spoke like 2014 Carrie.

Having actually seen her speak in person. NO.
She was up on stage with George and saying the most vulgar things that were making him blush. And everyone else on stage would just have to shrug and say, "That's Carrie!"

I don't mind the rear of the cockpit looking like that. To me, it looks like cable management for wiring the cockpit with the covering panels removed for better access for repairs and whatnot.
It's ugly because it's something that technically want meant to be seen, but is uncovered for access. It fits the Falcon. If you compare that photo to the one with Mark and Harrison that Jaitea posted, you can see that there are larger panels on the cockpit side of the ring (behind Harrison's back) that weren't there in the OT. Chalk it up to thirty years of improvements and repairs.

Mark and Carrie look the best they have in years. With some fancy makeup and flattering lighting, they'll look even better.

Not only age, but drug and alcohol abuse as well. I think she looks great considering. More importantly, she appears to be healthy and happy. We also have to remember that our princess is nearing 60.
