Guess we won't know what exactly happened until and if we get something 'official'. All we can do is wish him a speedy and successful recovery.

It's too bad we may no longer see him personally doing some of his own minor stunts for VII (jumping, running, etc), but he could surprise us.. after all he's probably more machine now than man ;)

Edit: Very cool 5 images. Falcon cockpit is looking really good. It's amazing to see the snow speeder and Tie Interceptor. Interesting new small ship with the curved surface.

Wonder if this is actually an image of the AOTC prop on display somewhere?

I'm a tad suspicious of those pics, as a life size TIE and even a snowspeeder have been seen at one of the official cons. Unless J.J. borrowed them?

The Falcon cockpit might be legit, but I think a replica was made for that one educational traveling museum exhibit.

The last one is Sam Wessel's speeder from AOTC. Unless the prop is being reused?

Where were you in '77?

I hope we don't see it again. I never really liked the design, and it would be incredibly stupid if it was the same speeder. Even if it's a different speeder of the same type, why would we see it? I smell universe shrinkage. I can't say I'm happy about the snowspeeder and TIE Interceptor either. Why would they still be using vehicle designs from thirty years ago? Unless they show up in a museum, or something (which they probably won't, seeing as it looks like they built full-sized props), they shouldn't be in the movie.

Yeah, I think SilverWook is right. They probably have nothing to do with the movie.

I am suspicious as well. The images of cockpit of the Falcon also look very vintage-like.

So, the reporter screwed up, or is this the first official disinformation?

Well, the last picture of the desert could be real, but doesn't reveal anything.  There has been a lot of misinformation lately... first Harrison sprains his ankle, then it is broken and now his whole leg is broken which was apparently caused by a garage door and not the Falcon door.  There are now supposedly pictures of Daisy in a Darksider costume with face paint.

That's a certainly a possibilty just to mislead us. Just as likely the same with the "Jedi Hunter" rumors.

They know we are looking for bones, so they are giving us bones.. but the bones are already buried.

Interesting...that could be why they're trying to make Rebels more fun and like the original film. To counter-balance where the new trilogy could go if that's accurate.

Personally I've never been one of those fans that wants dark brooding Star Wars. So I hope even if that's somewhat accurate that they keep the tone close to the original trilogy.

Post-apocalyptic SW? Huh. Interesting. I know Lucas seems to have a fondness for the Mad Max films--he named a character in Willow after Mel Gibson in those movies.

“That Darth Vader, man. Sure does love eating Jedi.”

Harrison Ford Returning to U.S. for Six Months of Rehab

Harrison Ford will take six months off from filming the new Star Wars movie in Britain to return to the U.S. for treatment on his shattered leg, according to a U.K. report.

The Indiana Jones actor was first thought to have fractured his ankle during filming in England earlier this month (Jun14), when his foot was crushed by the door of a spacecraft prop. However, his injury turned out to be a broken leg, with reports suggesting he would be out of action for up to eight weeks.

It has now emerged that he will not be able to return to film Star Wars: Episode VII for six months as he needs rehab treatment for his left limb, which was fixed with a number of metal plates during surgery this week (beg16Jun14).

A source tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "Shooting is continuing, but Harrison won't be back for months... the film company is looking into extending filming well into the second half of this year to allow Ford time to get back on his feet."

Ford is still receiving treatment at a hospital in England but will fly back to Los Angeles with his actress wife Calista Flockhart to work with a physiotherapist, according to editors at the publication.

Wow, here's hoping to a successful recovery.  I wonder if this is enough to push the film back to 2016, especially if he is a co-lead?  Then again, I'm sure Disney wouldn't want to have two Star Wars films in one year and its doubtful they would push back all the films.  They'll need to use some creativity here.

I hope it doesn't result in any part of the movie being rushed.
