Is Chewie's new haircut in ROTJ really a new haircut? Seems to me he just decided to change how he brushed his hair. ;-)

Exactly. Maybe he just died his hair and combed it differently. Changed his hair style. After all, he was twenty years younger in ROTS than in ANH.

Considering Chewie is supposed to be about 200 years old by Star Wars, I figure time doesn't really move as quickly for him as the rest of the cast.

Wow. I've just read over the page about Chewbacca looking different in ROTS to how he looks in the OT. Amazing how some things that never registered on my own radar seem to matter so much to others.
I mean, even now that the difference between the costumes has been pointed out to me (and I honestly never noticed before) I still couldn't give a toss.
