About the Wookiee thing....I've got a feeling, and a bad one at that, that the whole Wookiee aspect of the film will suck so bad, worse than my ex in fact!
I mean, have you seen pictures of Chewie.
He does'nt look like Chewie. Face is wrong and he's all buffed up.
To me Chewie was a lanky streak of piss, not a hairy He-Man lookylikey!

I guess the moral of "The Empire Strikes Back" is that it's not how much the movie makes, it's the quality of the story that matters to fans in the long run.
I'd like a qui-gon jinn please with an Obi-Wan to go.

This isn't exactly on topic... but.... Lucas made a deal with Disney. Jedi Lessons and making the prequels critical failures or else the mouse would eat all the clothes in Lucas' closet.

Chaltab, Brits (and others) tend to have a different interpretation of "pound" seeing as how it's their native monetary system. Most other nations tend to have keyboards that reflect their distinctive characters and alphabets. Some may opt to use the same keyboard as we do, but the option is there to use one that more readily facilitates typing characters they would use that we wouldn't. We can still get many of those characters using ASCII keystrokes with the Alt key and a four-digit combination.

To see the British "pound" sign, look at HotRod's post a few above. It looks like a scripted "L" with a midline through it. Apparently, on western European keyboards, it's shift 3 to get the symbol. Here, shift 3 also gets "pound", just a different one.

We're weird like that.

I mean who ever actually uses braces?

When you say braces are you refering to { and } ?

if so umm...i use them all the time every day. More so than i use probably half the shift functions for the number keys. Most programming languages use { and } so a lot of the programs you use on a daily basis need those keys.

also, you do realize you can install keyboards for different countries so you're keys will behave differently (though the label will stay the same) when i took german in college i installed the german keyboard to make it easier to type stuff in german. you can probably also remap your keyboard manually if you knew what your were doing...or buy a programmable keyboard and set it up however you want.

D'oh. I meant the phone keypad "pound" not the British Currency. I'll give anyone of you £40 if you can type the story of Goldilox and the Three Bears without using any T's or E's...

In English.

Goldilox is the updated hip modern form of the character.

Ever notice how one-dimensional all these old Fairy Tale characters are?

I thought that was part of the charm. It's when you start trying to modernize them with 21st century notions and ideology (or lack thereof) that they lose their appeal.

I know; I was just being sarcastic. "Updating" fairly tales was done all the time on Looney Toons.

Call me crazy, but Episode III just doesn't seem to be building up the same hype that the other films did.

It's because the prequels are riding the coattail's of the original trilogy.

It's kind of like Van Halen. Rose quickly to the top with Roth, then a slow, wilting death with Hagar.
Author

But there were a few decent Van Halen songs with Hagar.

Van Hagar = Journey with a better guitarist.

Prequels = Star Wars with worse storyline.

Let's put it this way, when touring Europe in the early nineties, Van Hagar opened for Bon Jovi.

I still fail to see how the Prequels have a worse storyline.

Granted the acting, pacing, scripting, and humor aren't up to SW par, but best I can tell, it has a more complex story.

Don't kid yourself DC, the prequels storyline sucks.

Okay, okay... talk about semantics! The prequels' plot was inferior (the definition of plot being the story that is actually shown on screen) as opposed to the storyline which what the plot inferred.

The movie as it actually was, or what it was supposed to be are two totally different things. If you were to read a novelization, I'm sure it would be 1000% better.

I'm not kidding myself. I just think all the political manipulations and interactions are cool and make Palps seem really devious.

The fact that the OT lacks that element doesn't make them worse movies, though, and because of the cast and dialouge they turn out to be much better movies. Also, I've read the AoTC Novelization... It doesn't really add all that much... But it does make the scene where Yoda hears QuiGon's voice much more comprehensible.
