Were dreads a thing of the late 70s??
(I ask because I don't really know).

Lucas said he was going to make EP3 have a style similar to that of EP4, which explains Hayden's long hair.

whoa whoa!!
relax guys...
theres nothing that could make me shell out my hard earned cash for this set...
theres not even anything remotely interesting about it..
the Bonus Disc is prolly the only thing i would like to see... and i have a feeling even that is going to be kinda crappy... (if they go about doing it the way they did the Indy disc)..

i was happy with the SW to JEDI the making of a Saga... i thought that should be a documentary in its own on the set....
so dont worry...
if anything ill be the one standing next to the display in stores warning people its not worth it...

the workers will have to drag me out of the store to prevent me from telling people but dont worry guys... im still fighting the good fight...

Hmmm ... It's going to be really hard NOT to buy it ... You have to agree with me here ... that although you know it'll be edited beyond recognition ... you want to know if there isn't at least a small part that you might actaully like ...

And a part of me ... the fan part ... wants to see it. Or atleast have all the 3 different versions on DVD.
(but that could be me )

see the only reason i would buy it would be for the sound and picture... but until i get the OT i can hold out...
to be honest im just not buying it to spite Lucas for what he's doing...
and im hoping many feel the same way...

As much as I wish we'd get a chance to buy the official original theatrical versions of the trilogy , I'll go out and buy the new DVD set the day it comes out, and I'm actually generally interested in seeing what changes have been made to it, no doubt I'll probably dislike more of the alterations than I'll end up liking, but I'm curious to see the movies from a fresh perspective, the same way i was in 97 with the first round of special editions, but no matter how many times George remixes the movies, nothing will ever take the place of the original versions of those movies, they will live on forever as the Definitive versions in my memory and on VHS and (thanks to Rikter!!) my DVD's,

and to be honest, even though I've contributed my share of money over the years to George and his Empire, If both sets were released at the same time on DVD, I would probably end up buying them both. To preserve my original memories, and the second set to satisfy my appetite to see something new in the Star Wars universe.
