I understood it pretty well, but I also know the lines like the back of my hand.

Knowing what it is supposed to be, and that it is coming, is probably most of why it makes sense to us, I’m trying to think about someone watching this fresh, I don’t think that line would pop as well as the others do, it is just too muddled. Good effort, though.

Hmm, he says “alter” again in the very next sentence, have you tried to work that one in instead of chopping off the “ing”?

Very quick update to the Gauntlet bit. I was thinking the announcer says the characters’ colors as well, but the clips I found didn’t include the colors…until I remembered that was added for Gauntlet II. Hopefully this sells the Yoda joke a little better, along with flipping the two “shot the food” lines.

Ok guys, need a favor. There isn’t much new here, and it’s a long clip, but it’s important because it shows the inter-cutting between the death of Padme and birth of Vader. Need to know if it’s working.

There are a few minor changes, mainly I cut down some of the Robo footage, as well as adding one joke during it. There’s also a new scene at the end for your trouble.

Bonus points if you recognize the song. It was new to me.

(Side note to Frink - buy legit version of song and replace YouTube rip with it)

Are there flashes of the Star Wars crawl/theme in the snow? I never noticed before.

Man, I loved it. Never laughed at a death scene like that.

I have to say that I thought it would be funny if Vader answered “no” to Palpatine asking if he could hear him, but it would probably step on the Angel joke.

And I’m pretty sure the song is the guitar solo from ZZ Top’s Cheap* Sunglasses? Sounds like a different version than the one I’ve heard though.

I think it works well cut together, I wasn’t having trouble keeping track of the jokes.

*I originally said “Pink” Sunglasses and I have no idea why. How embarrassing.

Nope.

Hint: The song title is relevant to the scene. I only discovered it by Googling the relevant word.
