If you do a scope, it should be more like the targeting displays previously seen in Star Wars. It can be a very simple graphic that moves or glows when “on target”.

You could also use one the many macrobinocular shots for a template?

I think it would look better if there was a sway, as if someone were really holding it. Maybe if it followed Jar Jar too.

It might be fun if the shooter was from another film or television show, something that really shouldn’t fit. Like Roger Moore or Tom Baker.
