I’m just wondering if Frink has some pop song from four years ago in there that isn’t relevant anymore.

Traditionally that’s the ending song but Walking on Sunshine stole that honor this time around.

looks at the calendar

I see at least 52 times that song is relevant every single year.

Lol.

Related, I enjoy the wiki article’s first sentence for the actual day.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friday

Friday is the day after Thursday and the day before Saturday.

To be fair, that really is the best way to describe it.

In Frink’s defense (though that song is now actually six years irrelevant), its a running gag so it’s okay. (was just referring to the traditional ending song, as Frink mentioned)

Yes it’s the Klingon theme from Alien 2: The Search for Spock

Second clip features a quick audio gag (another Wook idea) of Super Grover yelling as Yoda “crashes” into the speeder. And the song playing on Bail’s radio is this one:

Which both calls back his comment in AOTR (yet another Wook idea) and also mocks Yoda a bit.

On FE it was suggested that I intercut Yoda with the Marines, but I think this works much better. It also allowed me to use the more recognizable music first, cut to Organa, then immediately back to Yoda with the correct music for him to blow up the alien.

The black bars over the Aliens footage doesn’t go all the way to the edge, but I love the concept!

Dammit.

Thanks for the catch.

Just a note to myself that this has been fixed. If anyone happens to notice it happening in other footage please let me know.

At first I was thinking this would be better if it was in motion and if there was no watermark…but now I’m sort of thinking it’s funnier this way.

You thought right.

You could pretend it’s a reference to the arrested development new season how when it flashes back to the old seasons there’s a watermark that says Showstealer Pro

I swear I was shot down recommending Super Grover yells for Yoda in the past…

Edit: Okay, I actually found the posts. Seems I was just supporting Wook’s idea.
