Episode III: Revenge of the Ridiculousness — Page 105

In this scene I had to cut together shots of Anakin during the lightning attack and Mace not during the lightning attack, which means the flicker effect that is present in the Anakin shots is missing in the Mace shots. I tried to add it to the Mace shots, does it work?

(Ignore the screwed up audio, I’m not sure what the problem is but it’s not present in the timeline. It’s also not a YouTube problem because it’s present in the output ac3 file, so I’m not sure what the issue is.)

I think it looks fantastic!

It works, and probably works best as a one-shot deal. Too many shots of pixellated Wookiee crotch would get distracting after awhile.

Works for me. Very nice. And the audio ‘worked’ that way for me as well, but I guess you weren’t going for the glitches…

I’ve been trying to figure out how to fix the inconsistencies in the Airplane/Coruscant sequence, as Coruscant is filmed in daylight and the Airplane scenes take place at night. Here’s an example of me trying to make the Coruscant scenes more like night, although I’m not sure it’s working. The final shot is untouched so you can see the difference (and also there’s a shot of the sun which may make it impossible to fix).

Kinda distracting. I say don’t worry about it.

Another kind of catchy, yet annoying pop song for your perusal. The lyrics would need to be bleeped a tiny bit though.

Thanks to Frink, I like that accursed Friday song now. 😉

Wook, do you have any idea what this was? The video has been pulled and I don’t remember what it was (you posted it over three years ago!).

wouldn’t it be easier to just make the airplane scenes look more like daylight? the only really challenge is the dark windows in the plane, right? the darkened StarWars scenes just seem too challenging to me.

I thought that would be the case but I can’t seem to figure out how to do it without the whole picture going way too bright.

Thanks to the internet wayback machine, I was able to find the song title.

Thinking this is probably correct, so I think I’ll just let it go.

While I was working on that sequence I added this in.

As suggested by Wook, I’m replacing the fireship pilot with a Thunderbirds pilot.

Anyone have a good idea for dialogue to give the pilot?

For context, you can watch starting at about 19:30. I’ll insert the pilot shot right before he starts shooting the water.

That is great! Love it, especially the last 10 min because that is all I remember. Lol. Inclo the song from Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog is genius. And I really love how well Roberto’s lines work for Steve grevious.
