Hey Frink - I'm so glad to see Tommy Wiseau will live on a zillion times over as hilarious repetitive clone voices.

LoL, brilliant.

For the next edit will you be using more clips of his audio from The Room or will you use other excepts of Tommy Wiseau from interviews and stuff? For example, I think he rambles on about The Room in the special features of the dvd. So there may be some potential there as well.

Wiseau also appeared in an episode of "Tim and Eric".

How on Earth will you create the sound of a thousand Johnny's for the finale?

Beats me.  It doesn't help that Vegas Platinum limits how many audio tracks I get.  On the other clips I just used an extra center track so I could have two laughs at a time overlapping, but anything beyond that may be beyond my capabilities.

If someone else wants to take a crack at it, feel free!  And call me maybe. :p

If Yoda could say "moo cow", that might fit the lip movement better.

Perhaps an anguished cry of "moo!" off camera before we actually see it?

I didn't notice a lip sync issue, I'll have to look at it again.  Combining sounds to make a word is always dicey, so I try not to do it unless necessary.

And believe it or not, I always planned to put a moo or two in, but forgot to do it when working on the clip.  But it hadn't occurred to me that I could do it off-camera when it first gets shot.

Could you use the "moo" from the Holy Grail? You know - right when the French fling the cow at Arthur and his "silly English kanigguts"?

I was going to use the South Park cows again, but that's even better!  I'll have to check it out, but the idea of some random "run away!" lines appeals to me as well.

I feel like there's still plenty of quotes in the movie I haven't used yet, but if anyone finds something that fits particularly well, I'd be happy to use it.

Maybe there is a separate audio program you can build up the Johnny's with? I knew a garage band back in college that did some pretty neat tricks with a multichannel recorder mixer. There must a computer equivalent of that out there.

Anybody got Ben Burtt's cell number? ;)

A free (decent) mixer like that is Audacity, fwiw. Pretty easy to use, but if you need help with it, I'd be glad to walk you through it...

There's a 'Chorus' audio effect in certain versions of Vegas that may help.

lol, I keep forgetting about Audacity.  I even used the AM Radio equalizer on the Queen song.  I'll play around with it some.

I'm not sure if I have access to this or not, as I don't have pro.  However, I did buy the studio version of Platinum, which I think came with a sound effect program.  I'll have to see what I have.

That scene is your masterpiece. :)

I think the clone who gets shot off the platform ought to get a Johnny line...

Which clone is that?

The clone who gets off the troop transport with Obi Wan and Anakin. His death can be a little hard to see though.

I watched it again and couldn't really see it.  And while I intended the "I'm fed up with this world" to be said by the transport pilot, there's no reason you can't imagine it came from the clone that bites it. ;-)

That's great but would it be possible for Typho to state that he is in charge of the security (cannot remember the exact quote) just before the ship blows up?

Panaka dying in the blast would be fun.

It might be possible to put him behind Sorbet (or whatever her name is) via TPM footage and have him blown to bits.

I tried it...it didn't work.

The line is "I'm Captain Typho of Her Majesty's security service."  The idea is pretty funny but the line doesn't fit.  I could have tried to adjust the line to fit, but it would have messed up the change I already made to the scene.

Also, I made changes to R2's subs, the attack on [REDACTED], and some other stuff...I think it's a much stronger open to the movie now.

Available on vimeo shortly...

Its too late for this... but you should have a brief South Park "Kenny" moment in each of your edits.

"oh my god, you killed" (insert palpatine saying Darth Maul) "You bastards!"

"oh my god, you killed" (insert Taun We saying Jango Fett) "You bastards!"

This would culminate with a long series of them during Order 66.

I also have an amusing image for a small intermission... I'm a lot younger, so this won't appeal to older folks... but in the middle of every Pokemon episode they have a "Who's that Pokemon" segment... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Akt-0oKULAc&feature=related

I can just see "Who's that Serparatist?" "It's General Grievous!" (sound of him coughing)...

Preferred Saga:
1,2: Numeraljoker extended
3: L8wrtr
4,6-9: Hal9000
5: Adywan
