No problem. How about a sign on the back of the tombstone(s) that reads "Remove by Episode IV"?
To be fair, somebody looked and compared and you'd never see the tombstones from any of the angles the homestead is seen in in Episode IV. Still would be funny.

I think the drum roll from Holy Grail (when Lancelot is seen running from afar) should be more audible in the scenes where Padme is running toward Anakin.  Otherwise, very funny :)

Further from my post about the Federation bridge.

You could cut the shot of the ship attempting to take off and instead have the shot of the other sphere docking with the ring.

You could then have that 'what's wrong with your face' lady say that they are losing power (from TPM) reverse the docking shot and then show the sphere crashing onto the planet.

Wookieepedia claims Owen removed them. Given the Swiss Cheese that is the "your father was a navigator on a spice freighter" story, he sure as heck didn't need to spin even more lies about Grandma! ;)

I imagine the Lars family didn't have too many people over for dinner, and the conversations were really awkward when they did.

Where were you in '77?

Funny idea.  Someone else will have to take a shot at it (Bob?) of course.

It's weird, the drum roll sounds fine on my PC but the uploaded version sounds too quiet to me too.  I've noticed it with a few other clips as well (mostly stuff I put in the surround tracks).  I'll make sure it's good when I do a full 5.1 review.

Ha-ha, I like this a lot.

Reaction to this will be interesting...I'll wager that many of you will hate it. But hopefully a few of you will love it, which will make it worthwhile. I'm repeating the love montage scene at the beginning to provide proper context.

I think Frink dropped a hint about the song he's going to use for the clone factory in that new clip. ;)

Well done, Fink.  This more than makes up for that train-wreck of your first fan edit!  Keep up the good work!

Vimeo may not allow surround channels...only regular stereo?

Well, I can still hear the surround audio, it just seems quieter for some reason.

We need to find a spot for this little gem, its just too perfect a song to pass up. Unless if you want to save it for Episode 3 as Anakin and Padme stare in the distance at each other before Anakin races of to stop mace from killing Palpatine.

Eh, I don't know.  It certainly fits, but it's not a song I like enough to own or anything.  I'm sure I'll find another good fit when I get to that point.

I should mention I wanted to try and use this during that Ep3 sequence, but it would be much better if Ani and Padme moved their mouths during the sequence so it looked like they were singing...

The split screen part at 2:23 would have been really fun to recreate.

Going back to the Aquabats and Sexy Time montages, I think I'm going to reorder things a bit to split them up.

  • Fireplace scene, with final lines being Padme's "give in to this" and Anakin saying "okay."
  • Aquabats Montage
  • Obi says goodbye to Taun We and contacts Yoda and Mace
  • Ani and Padme walk on the balcony (the "I don't like sand scene") and have the kiss leading into the sexy times montage
  • Morning after discussion about going to Tatooine

Now to put it into place...

Could he call her Tauntaun?

Occasionally she could make little Tauntaun sounds when she moves.

Pretty sure the only one who says Taun We is Boba, and I don't want to use any non-Denny dialogue for Boba.

Funny idea though.

A couple of notes on this clip:

  • The audio goes from very quiet to very loud (by design) so if you are using headphones or have a sleeping baby, you have been warned.
  • Credit goes to AEmovieguy for much of the dialogue, especially Padme's best lines.
  • If anyone knows where I can get a heart shaped transition plug-in for Vegas, please do let me know.
