The crawl wouldn't end.

You could write a feature length crawl and hide it continuously running in every scene but that would be hard work.

I kind of like a Ric Olie style crawl...

THIS IS THE CRAWL...THE CRAWL IS USED IN STAR WARS TO OPEN THE MOVIE AND SET UP THE STORY...A MOVIE IS A SERIES OF FILMED IMAGES AND SOUND USED TO CONVEY A STORY...A STORY...

And so on.

Yes we have seen that classic before.

Something of that elk would be mooste welcome.

I have yet to decide how many ot.com in-jokes I'm going to use.  Probably a few but not too many.

And I haven't really figured out anything good for the crawl yet.  All ideas are welcome.

For the crawl?

Just pinch the preamble from Hart To Hart but change the names and some of the details but keep the basic tone.

Ric would be Max.

Then change the music to the A-Team.

Another thought, don't know if I'll go this route, but I like the idea of working some internet memes into the battle droid subs.  I already did the LOL, but I'm thinking...

You have to use "you meen hes a .... ?" as a droid response or at least as a subtitle for the feds when the droid tells him that there are Jedi onboard.

The battle droids could speak with modem noise but have subtitles.

EDIT: Oh yeah, during the podrace.  Haven't even started thinking about that yet.
