I like the idea of also including a Garmin "turn left" before he tries to turn.

Anyway...anyone know where I can get reasonably clean audio of the Garmin speech?  There are a few on youtube I could pull but they're not very good quality.  I also happen to have a Garmin, I wonder if there is a way to get the speech off it and onto my computer?

Classic! I'd say just record it with a mic, but I'm not sure how you could get it to want to turn left or recalculate.

That was one of the best sequences yet.

Maybe when you are finished and claim on the box that it's the long awaited prequel to War Of The Stars.

People would complain about how slick it was.

He could still do a ridiculous ANH but that would be the SE of War Of The Stars.

With the crushed blacks and added slickness to tie in the the PT.

The WOTS fans would hate him even more especially if he refused to allow the original version of WOTS to be released.

I can't wait for my daughter to tweet in defense of my suppression of WOTS.

You can suppress WOTS, I am more focused doing little experimental edits ;)

I love the stupid music during the battle between Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon, and Darth Maul. If you edit back in the sound effects, maybe even a couple of extra Wilhelm screams also, with that music ALWAYS playing in the background during their fight, that would be funnier than s**t, to me at least.

Editing the sound effects in, while technically feasible, would be way too much effort for the payoff IMO.  Because the original audio also has music in it, I can't use it.  Best I could do is throw in discrete effects from something like Brash's sound archive, but the thought of doing that for even a brief clip is not pleasant.
