That's where it was supposed to go. I watched it again this afternoon and I didn't really like how it played. Mostly because the footage was used from other scenes and also slowed down to make it last. The actual scene itself is one continuous shot of Panaka walking up, quick discussion, phone call, then they walk off. So there isn't anything good to use there.
I'm not decided for sure yet, 'cause I'm not sure if mine is any better. I'm not really a fan of the loop I used since Panaka walks backwards and then forwards again.
Love the subtitled conversation that takes place now between Jar-Jar, Sebulba, and Anakin.
I'm with 005 -- I liked the extended Obi-Wan/Panaka silent shot (if indeed I'm remembering the right clip).

I laughed out loud when Qui-Gon starts telling Shmi about the parts he needs. Anakin asking his mom if she's an angel was good too, and well-executed in terms of audio.
After Ani says, "Isn't he great?" with regards to 3PO, is there a line of dialog you could give Padme in response (something like "I don't know" or maybe cut out the "I don't" part and just have her say "no")?

Probably...I haven't started on that scene yet, other than putting in R2's subtitle at the very beginning.
Speaking of which, I'm not terribly happy with R2's "This should be good..." so alternate subtitle suggestions are welcome.

How about "Will this never end?" Which could also be considered foreshadowing since he's about to meet 3Po.
I also wonder if you could take Padme's "thunderous applause" and insert just those words as sort of a sarcastic response to certain things.
