I see the blasphemy in your post, greenpenguino!

On a more serious note, I'm thoroughly enjoying your work, Frink.

It might be possible to dub the little old lady from the market at Mos Espa with the joke seller from Top Secret! (Qui Gon picking up the 'fake' dog poo could be a leg pull of Lucas' toilet humour in TPM).

I don't quite get the "blast us into oblivion hehehe" part.  But I lol'd when he said "you must be proud".  And "don't touch anything" is always funny.

So this bit is like 45 seconds long, and I've been struggling endlessly with it.  I think at this point it's *ok* but I'm not entirely satisfied with it.  So suggestions are welcome!

Your voice?

I'm trying to avoid that.  For several reasons.

The intent was as follows:

Obi: Bad feeling
QG: That last droid was so strange, let's leave before more show up
Obi: Good point - they'll blast us good
...

Obi: lol, it's a trick.

I don't think it really works, and it's the part I spent the most time on because nothing I tried before that worked either.

I feel ya man. I don't want people seeing what I look or sound like either.

I like the use of Bender and other stuff in that clip, but I was waiting for the ending joke of that line with the "11001101011001... 2".

Hmmm...does Bender say that somewhere?  I like it.

Everything I used is from the first movie ("Bender's Big Score") because it's in 5.1 and the dialogue on the center track is clean.  Having said that, the "two" in that clip sounds clean as well, so it should work.

Interesting how different his voice sounded back then.

Don't forget to change the "I" to "Obi-Wan" when he says, "I have a bad feeling about this."  I realize the word "have" introduces a grammatical problem, but I actually think that makes it even more funny.

I don't know what you're talking about. I'm just a simple man trying to make my way in the OT.com

I actually tried that and I didn't like how it sounded ("Obi-Wan have a bad feeling about this.")  I then tried to find a place where he says "has" so I could stitch it together, but the only thing I found was "this hasn't been our day for warm welcomes" and the "hasn't" did not separate very well into "has."

Not sure yet which way I'll go.  Maybe some other plural - "Jedi?"  "Kenobis?" Something funnier I can't think of right now?

Is there an instance of McGregor saying "has" in the other prequels you could use?  If not, I can try taking a stab at crafting a decent "has" audio clip.

Edit: some possible sources:

AOTC: "We will do exactly as the council has instructed"

ROTS: "Padme, Anakin has turned to the dark side."

ROTS: "He has become a very great threat."

It's funny you mention that...I don't remember checking the other two movies.  Sheesh, he's got a lot more lines in those two, I'm almost positive he says it *somewhere*.
