Episode 7 vs The other six movies (SPOILERS GONNA SPOIL)

So far Episode 7 is one of the most anticipated movies in my opinion (probably Deadpool) and after Ive seen it 2 months ago, I realized that the movie was imitating its the storyline of the six movies, so comparison time!

Episode 7 copied Episode 4,1, and 5. Here are the lists:

The death of the person who-shot-first: No, not Greedo. First, the stabbed death was similar to Qui-Gon, and Obi-Wan. and the 100-meter fall was similar to Luke falling in Episode 5, since Han is not Indiana Jones, he cannot survive even with his refrigerator.

The Starkiller trench run:
It did what Episode IV and VI had done, hit the missile-thing into the port, two people fight, Michael Bay explosions, TIE Fighters, Base explodes, all end goes well except that Han did make it, same with Obi-wan. Just recycling a iconic scene does not make it iconic.

Han Solo and Luke Skywalker as “masters”:
This happens exactly like Episode IV and V, Luke’s old master was Obi-wan, but resorts to Yoda after Ben died, so obviously the same

Rey’s Origins:
When we first saw Rey, she was in Jakku, exactly like Tatooine, Looking at the horizon, exactly like Luke did, except that Rey just licked a plate.

Thats all I can cover for now, there are more similarites between them but I think that they are all great as a saga.

Leave stuff below if you have any more similarities.

One similarity I noticed was everything you’ve said to the complaints I’ve heard since December.

Not really. For one there was no lightsaber duel in TFA between Han and Kylo Ren. Secondly, Han tried to bring Kylo Ren home; no such attempts were made in either duel in TPM or STAR WARS. Lastly, Obi-Wan literally sacrificed himself and was decapitated, Qui-Gon was overpowered by Maul and stabbed in the gut and Kylo Ren tricked Han and stabbed him. If you want to break it down to “Old man gets killed by baddie” sure but any sort of observation leaves no doubt as to how different Han’s death was from Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan’s end.

Starkiller Base sucks ass. We all know this

Father figure =/= mentor in The Force

Rey’s Origins:

Their origins are similar yet different seeing as how Rey is a scavenger and not a farm boy. She is totally isolated and has to fend for herself unlike Luke. She was left by her parents and is needlessly anticipating their return to the point of being in denial while Luke just wants to join the Rebellion.

Also there is a great mystery about Rey…I think the revelation about her true origins will change our perceptions.
