Do you want me to explain further, or do you see it?
What? You're trying to suggest that six Tatooine months aren't six months, right? Even though you previously inferred I was full of shit when I said that the time frame was established in the book. That's commonly known as "grasping at straws when you've been proven wrong."
We know from Empire Strikes Back that Luke was able to hone his own skills quite well without formal training ... since he was able to levitate his lightsaber in the Wampa cave (something he was unable to do in Star Wars). We know that Luke wasn't taught to build a lightsaber by Yoda because he's still using his father's saber at the end of Empire and he didn't have a spare on "hand." His training wasn't complete when he left Yoda ... it's easier to believe that he taught himself how to build the saber because he's a smart cookie than it is to believe that Yoda taught him to build a lightsaber that never appears ANYWHERE.
It's kinda cute, though, how my disappointment with Revenge of the Sith is, to you, an attempt at ruining the film. To you, this disappointment requires work. Conversely, the way I see it, enjoying these prequel films requires far more labor.
