Can someone please explain how to fix audio\video synch in this program,so even a 10 yr old can understand LOL,I know everyone says use DVD-Lab Pro,but i find this very hard to learn, also how do you find out what to set the delay too, sorry for the bombardment, but i am working on a project right now,and that is what i am stuck on,and the sample SL version i did, blows away ALL LD versions to date. thanks for the help DJ
I have version 1.5,damn so i cant adjust it with this version? and for sources,it is a video file and a .wav file, since v1.5 cant use .ac3 files,it always locks up. DJ also it appears by the duration\time that the Video file is longer than the audio file,is this right, and if so how do you corect this, obviously i dont use delay,it would make it worse.
Well, Jonno is definitely your man if anyone knows. He helped me out hugely in my times of Encore trouble !
With any Encore work I've done, I've fixed such things in Womble and then imported the mpeg directly into Encore, so not leaving anything to chance synch wise. I'm using 2.0 and it's quite buggy in it's "playback/monitor" mode - their techincal argument is that it's all about the GOP's - but I can fix these things in Womble far easier. Is that a possible route ?
I concur with Meedermow - even with the rudimentary editing Encore v2 gives you, it's no match for Womble's flexibility when you're doing this sort of thing (and v2 is still pretty buggy). Get the free 30 day trial - it should last long enough to get this job done at least!
I'm using 2.0 and you can actually adjust the synch a frame at a time (that is, you can highlight the audio and use the arrow keys to adjust it forward or back a frame at a time).

True, but I believe you have to import extra material to fill the gaps that you create - Womble seems to do this automatically.
