Since the sync is based on GOUT, I can confirm that is a perfect sync with the V3. dark_jedi and You_Too, maybe you can add this track to the upcoming BD of yours.

From what I can tell, the 8mm mix was done specifically for the digests. Judging by the shared differences from the standard mix, it was probably done around the same time as this 16mm mono mix and/or the "Story of" LP mix. (Though each of them has unique differences - as I said in another thread, Lucas and/or Ben Burtt seem to have been very mercurial when it came to ADR takes; every time they did another mix, at least one line was a different reading, or a completely different line altogether - they were still changing their minds when remixing the SEs!)

I don't know why you would want to watch the movie without the PSB video, but cool effort anyway =) I guess it could be useful for future projects.

First off, Bravo Mavimao ..... this will be a treat for sure.  Thank you to Puggo and CatBus as well for the work.

Any chance I could get a link for the DTS-HD?

The other question I had is this .... was there a lossless FLAC for the faux stereo mix?  That would be cool to have as well.

Because Mavimao used the stereo to fit this project with the GOUT, and plus, it has the drumroll at the beginning of the Fox logo.

What the hell are you trying to say? You're just spewing utter nonsense. 

First the drumroll at the beginning and a 5 second long segment somewhere that Puggo spliced in but I don't where, are the only spots where the stereo source was used to fill in missing material. The rest is the raw mono track. 

The stereo gout mix was only used as a sync guide, and then faded out in the project timeline before export. 

Second, if you want the 8mm track to do your own GOUT sync, go ahead, but I've listened to it and it's not worth the trouble. You'll literally just be splicing in a laser blast or a couple lines of dialogue here and there. 

And third, if someone wanted to even attempt this, there's absolutely no reason why they couldn't use the mono mix. None at all. Just because we had to use 6 seconds from the stereo source doesn't make the other 2 hours of the mix less relevant.
