Yeah, it looks like the demonoid torrents are in need of a reseed.
Personally I'd like to see the old torrents killed and new ones started because I find some of the comments unnecessarily rude.

i'd just like a few seeds for ANH... been stuck at 78% for seemingly ever. There was one seed but I was getting REALLY slow speeds from him... any help would be much appreciated

Unfortunately not. MySpleen is rather difficult to get upload permission on.

There are torrents on demonoid.com that will hopefully be reseeded.

Hello. I check Star Wars Episode 4 and is Almost how I rembered!!! (Almost becouse i saw it in Spanish and in Full Screen, lol)

so i try to get the episode 5 and 6.. but there no seeds!!! I know these are a year ago, but please, give me a seed to the ESB!!

I've a HD of 5 gis of free space, so i must take once as time.

So all we have the same problem on demonoid!!

Ill promess i'll serve a lot (i did it with episode 4)

Smellwing, if you and a few others can seed ANH until i can finish downloading it (I'm at 83.5% at the moment) I'll be more than happy to seed ESB.

My computer is only on when I'm at home, but I figure some seeds are better than none at all.

You seed ESB first. It'll be a perfect opportunity for you to increase your share ratio up to 1. Give back at least as much as you've taken. Then I'll be happy to help you finish ANH.

What's your demonoid user name ? I'd like to check your ratio to help me better understand what you mean when you say "I'll seed em as long as I can" since that's such an open-ended statement.

I started seeding ESB again yesterday. My computer is on only when I'm around, I don't like to leave it on 24/7 (call me strange but i'm not going to change that)

I'll leave it run overnight the next few nights and all day Wednesday which is my next day off.

For some reason, my ratio on Demonoid never changes whatsoever no matter what the hell I do. It says I've downloaded 0, uploaded 0. I've downloaded several things, including the dual-layer, 8-gigabyte Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, all the Dr. Ebbetts Beatles releases I could find, and a few more, and I always upload till my ratio is at least 1.5. The reason I don't upload more is because I rarely have more than 10 gigabytes free on my computer, even when I don't have anything I've downloaded on the computer, and I tend to download large files like DVDs.

For the record, my username there is the same as it is here.

Demonoid only tracks your ratio for files tracked by their servers. They also contain many torrents that are externally tracked: they won't effect your ratio.
I would also assume you need to do something with cookies or something, otherwise I don't know how they'd associate your transfers with your account.

I am in the process of uploading ESB to alt.binaries.starwars (filling someones request). If you don't have Usenet, I can send you a copy, but it's the only 1 of the trilogy I have.

Took me over a week to snag Empire. I seeded it for two or three days (until my ratio was 2.5 and my harddrive was almost depleted) - I'm working on ANH/ROTJ right now. Under 10% ANH (been downloading for a week), under 2% ROTJ (three days).

I've been seeding both ESB and ROTJ whenever my computer is on, which unfortunately is not often due to my work schedule, and am at about 85 or 86% completed with ANH.

I will continue seeding the three of these until my ratio is 2:1 but as I said I'm not able to be online all that much. I have been leaving my computer on overnight (central US time) however...

Apparently only Demonoid members can download older torrents, and they're not letting me into their country club. Can anyone bludgeon these discs onto MySpleen, or convince Demonoid that I'm a model citizen worthy of their association? Or maybe--and this is unethical even for us and might not work--PM me the .torrent file? I will say a prayer to Leroy, God of Pudding, for you.
