I wish I had seen it on the big screen despite my quibbles.
I couldn't because it had sold out on the Saturday and on the Sunday.
So, is it worth going out on a cold winter night to see on the big screen? I think I can make the 10pm show if it doesn't sell out, which seems unlikely on the Monday before Turkeypocalypse.
And Leela all the way. ;)
Where were you in '77?

Time of Angels, Time and the Rani, Time Of the Doctor.
Oh and Tom seems to be leaking again (enter at your risk).
The five(ish) Doctors was great! It became much more amusing when I found out that David Tennant was married to Peter Davidson's daughter...

not sure that really means anything. The 13th Doctor he was referring to was probably the Capaldi Doctor(which he is, if you count Hurt).
Since we are talking about which is the most attractive companion, I'll put my vote in for Romana II.
So the next Doctor is another old guy ? After Matt Smith they are going old again.

Is there a place to see the five-ish doctors in the U.S.? The bbc website isn't letting me.
This link works for me...

Basically nobody knows or ever will know.
War does not make one great.
He acts rather like the Woman appearing to Wilf in The End Of Time or The Moment appearing to the Hurt Doctor (they all like lighter coloured clothing than they normally wear) and yet we also know that Elizabeth made the Doctor the Curator and Tom used to play the Doctor.
We also know when two Doctors turn up from different periods the age gap cancels out in favour of the oldest version.
The Fifth Doctor aged in the presence of Tenth. The Second and Third aged in the presence of the Fifth.
So it could be the Fourth Doctor made old because the Eleventh (or is it the Twelfth or the Thirteenth) Doctor is in the same room and the oldest has forgotten their meeting.
Or maybe he is an older incarnation of the Doctor wearing his Fourth body again who really looks that old.
It's just an excuse to get Tom on screen really.
The Sisterhood of Karn owed The Doctor for stopping the Time War, so when The Doctor was finally ready to retire from his adventures in space and time he returned to Karn and the sisterhood whipped up some regeneration brew that allowed the Doctor to regenerate once again into his Tom Baker form.

EDIT: just read down some of the comments & its a fan-edit,....really good too!!
That's really good, Jaitea. They definitely morphed Hurt's face with Eccleston's in the special, but it cut away so fast it was easy to miss. I wish they'd extended it until it was all Eccleston like here.

Nice little short documentary on the making of that special magic moment on Karn (they should have called Dalek Caan, Karn as he also said "No More").
After bigging up the 50th Anniversary show/movie tonight's Xmas Regeneration episode was a real let down
i felt really sorry the way they exited Smith......an embarrassing event

:/ Can't disagree too much. Lackluster introduction of Capaldi.
The blue elephant in the room.
I missed it. What was so bad about it? (please don't spoil too much)
For me, there wasn't enough of the Doctor saying goodbye to Clara or her getting to say goodbye to him. As an actress and definitely as the character, she deserved much more.
Capaldi was a shock. More so than I expected. I hope I'm surprised as the season progresses, but honestly, I feel like this will be a struggle for me.
