The blurb for each release…

Ewoks: Caravan of Courage

Ewoks: The Battle for Endor

Marauders raid the Ewok village and steal a power supply they believe to be magical. Wicket helps Cindel escape the evil witch Charal, and they befriend a hermit who may help them save the village.

Star Wars: Clone Wars – Micro-Series

Packed with action, this landmark “micro-series” is essential viewing for all fans of the Force!

Star Wars: Ewoks (both seasons 1 & 2)

Journey to the Forest Moon of Endor for an out-of-this world visit with your favorite, furry Star Wars heroes – the small-but-mighty Ewoks – in their own action-packed, animated series! Join Wicket, his friends Princess Kneesaa, Teebo, & Latara, and their entire tribe, as they experience fantastical adventures in Bright Tree Village.

The Story of the Faithful Wookiee (animated short from the 1978 Holiday Special)

Chewie’s Wookiee instincts warn him that all is not what it seems. This rare animated short features the voices of the original Star Wars cast.

Jedit: ‘In addition, the Star Wars: Droids animated series is slated to join the Star Wars Vintage Collection later this year.’

The “Vintage” section sure seems like a perfect place for them to eventually release the unaltered originals. I know that wouldn’t be the ideal scenario for many reasons, but certainly better than nothing.

These shows are either region locked or given different release dates for different locations, because I just checked my D+ account in Norway and I couldn’t find any of them.

BTW, has anyone looked at The Story of the Faithful Wookiee? I’m curious about which version it is. Is it the “normal version” that’s been on YouTube for a while now or the slightly extended version with the fake alien commercial breaks?

Star Wars is Surrealism, not Science Fiction (essay)

No alien commercial breaks for me. Must be the normal version.

I was chatting with a guy in Denmark earlier, who says the vintage collection isn’t showing up for him either. Hope you guys get it soon.

It’s worth remembering that the 2019 D+ versions showed up there mere months before hitting physical UHD just over a year ago (they ditched Dolby Vision on the actual discs, but whatever).

So, a new transfer of the films hitting D+ ahead of a physical release wouldn’t entirely be without precedent.

I know The Bad Batch is already planned for May 4th, but I wonder if they will surprise us with anything else for Star Wars Day?
