the '97 jabba is at least entertaining because of how terrible it is, the 2004 Jabba is just plain bad. It makes me wonder why they didn’t use the same model and textures as the one in TPM, it looks better than both of them

That is a good point, as they simply recycled the Dug model from AOTC, (which itself was re-purposed from Sebulba in TPM) for yet another pointless addition to ROTJ. They could have at least changed the colors so it wasn’t so obvious?
An older Sebulba hanging around Jabba’s palace actually makes more sense.
