Not sure where to put this, so Moth3r, if you think it belongs somewhere else, go ahead and move it.
Just saw this today, and I thought you guys would appreciate it. This dude’s been making custom replica lightsabers, and he has a blog/website/whatever that chronicles his process. It’s very interesting, especially his ANH Luke lightsaber, which he went all-out on - it includes a blue glowing crystal and other stuff on the inside, for Christ’s sake! He got Mark Hamill to sign it at Celebration V, too (Mark apparently remarked at how much better his replica was compared to the original prop, which was awkward and had shards of metal that would cut his hands).
