i was surfing the net for some deleted scene clips i could throw up here for you guys when i stumbled across the DVD campaign that The Digital Bits had going for Episode 1

i went through most of it but found this one paragraph to be ironic after they backed out on us and then wrote up an article saying that no petition or letter writing will help bring the original's out on DVD...

and i quote..

i guess the only word that comes to mind is SELLOUT...
i shall definatly venture over to www.dvdfile.com from now on...
why support them when they dont support us??

Whats a bit funny is that when George first said that he was releasing the Special Editions only the bits said they wouldn't even give a glance to a Special Edition only release. Yet they continue to report great news on the set. Including many of the new changes.

and then when Lucas announced the DVDs were not the OT they wrote that big letter saying "no petition or begging and pleading is going to work blah blah blah"

Bill Hunt wants the originals too. He just believes it to be a futile effort. You forget most of the early signers found out about this site thanks to the bits.
