Difficulty in burning 'deleted magic' onto DVD

Author
Time
Just downloaded this cracking documentary but im having problems viewing the main feature:

Amongst other things it downloaded the following files:

JACKET_P
VIDEO_TS

When I try and import the VIDEO_TS into Nero to burn the footage onto DVD it always stalls when its 'verifying the footage'.

...and if I try and just play the video on the computer, there is no sound.

Can anyone help?

You use Nero to play AC3 files, or it won't burn AC3 files?

MeBeJedi: Sadly, I believe the prequels are beyond repair.
JediRandy: They’re certainly beyond any repair you’re capable of making.

MeBeJedi: You aren’t one of us.
Go-Mer-Tonic: I can’t say I find that very disappointing.

JediRandy: I won’t suck as much as a fan edit.

Nah, it wouldnt play. But I found out that it was because of licensing agreements and I would have to purchase a plugin.

But when I burnt it to DVD, it played fine.

Sorry to resurrect this thread , but I have the same problem as Sober. I am creating an iso image of the cd, but it does not work. Watching each vob file is fine, and I have tried 3 times using nero, but when creating an iso image file, it does not play in my mvisto unit or even in PowerDVD in "File Mode". I can create iso images of Moth3r A New Hope and that works fine, as well as Johnny English Japanese Cut, it just seems to be Deleted Magic.

Any ideas anyone?

It appeared that mine didnt work was because my DVD player on the computer didnt have the license to play Dolby Digital. After putting it on DVD and playing it on my standalone DVD player...everything was fine. Not sure if this helps.

Hi there, Thanks for that. Yeah it is strange, if you do not create an iso image of the file, but just leave the [VIDEO_TS] folder, PowerDVD can play it normally. But creating a dvd iso image, and PowerDVD crashes out and so does my portable machine which I want to use.

I will PM the creator of Deleted Magic to see if he can see any reason why

many thanks

Ahhh managed to figure how to make a complient ISO image. Using Nero Tools wouldn't work, but if you download the following free tool - ImgTool it will create an iso image which works.

Tested on both Deleted Magic and Building Empire - both of which didn't work using Nero Tools or even Folder2Iso.

Now I am a happy man and great documentaries as well. Well done to the authors.
