Saying "Coke" in place of soda is odd to me. Even though I generally always get a Coke.

Actually, I was coked up the whole time, so I don't really remember ;-)
One I've noticed recently.
The terms for a potential paid employment have shifted.
When I was young I may have been interested in a position, then looking for a job, and then applying for a role.
