Don't nobody say "Value Meal" 'round these parts.

 

Saying "Coke" in place of soda is odd to me. Even though I generally always get a Coke.

I never experienced that in my years in San Antonio, so perhaps it's more localized than that?  I've always understood that to be a "southern" thing, and some parts of Texas are much more "Southern" than others.

One I've noticed recently.

The terms for a potential paid employment have shifted.

When I was young I may have been interested in a position, then looking for a job, and then applying for a role.
