Idea: SNL Celebrity Jeopardy

Hey how are you all doing out there? Alright alright alright.

I’ve been wanting to do this for years but have not yet had the time or inspiration to do it so here goes what I propose:

An SNL compilation DVD of all the Celebrity Jeopardy skits - after this last season’s finale episode, it is now at 14 skits and could easily fit on a single layer disc.

The problem I’m having is getting good copies of many of the earlier skits. NBC has been kind enough to post online about 5 of the later ones in 480p on HULU but I cannot for the life of me rip them from the site, no matter what I try… I have been able to rip the latest one from NBC’s site, but I’m sure that I can get a NON-FLV sourced copy from a 1080i HD rip from TV. But as back up I have the FLV one

Just curious if anyone would want to collaborate on this or help me out with the HULU situation.

Alright, I've been able to locate a FULL version of the very first Celebrity Jeopardy (all other copies are missing 2 minutes from the beginning) - however it is in Real Media format and tho it is completely watchable and fairly comparable to the other versions of it, I'm sure it is highly compressed

I was also able to rip 3 episodes from HULU to replace not quite so good versions I had of the same ones PLUS an episode called "Jeopardy 1999" from the 70's SNL - maybe to have as a bonus feature?

I was hoping to have this done by fathers day, but not sure yet. I was holding out for a better copy of the Nicolas Cage episode because it's really badly pixilated. It's actually the only one that I don't think is remotely watchable after converting to dvd

NINJA EDIT! I just found a Real Media file for the Nicolas Cage episode and, again, it's MUCH better than the other one, but it is a Real Media file... so... IDK
