I couldn't believe the lack of knowledge on the Star Wars films these budding businessmen and women had. One lady thought having Darth Vader as the central character in the store display would scare away potential customers for the DVD and videogame releases!!! She thought putting the dude with the blue face who tells Obiwan that Grevious is holding them captive should be the main character in the display!!!! Can you believe nobody in that group could figure out why Vader SHOULD be the focus of the Revenge of the Sith store displays?

Obviously, there are still some people on this planet who don't know much about Star Wars, but it was pretty wacky to see that the majority of these people who are trying to get a job in business couldn't grasp the concept of Star Wars being a cultural phenomenon. The Donald told them that its been phenomenon for nearly 30 years, yet most of them didn't seem to get it. It was pretty strange. They needed to go rent some of the SW movies

Spending about 5 minutes on the main site or, actually making thier meeting would have made them get the concept. What suprised me is that they thought they could make that meeting in 15 minutes. Although, one guy on thier team seemed to know about the original trilogy he didn't seem to know anything about the prequels.

Very true. Never watched it. Never will. And as a soon-to-be struggling actor, I take offense that idiotic crap like that is keeping actors out of work.

Here in Canada on our Global station, there was this halarious Apprentice commercial. I still think my friend and I were imagining it, so hopefully someone out there can shed some like on it for me. It's basically Donald saying to Chewbacca that he's fired because no one can understand what he's saying. You see Chewie distrought with his suitcase outside his hotel room. I couldn't stop laughing. What has the SW universe become when it's being mocked by another pop culture?

I was watching an interview - I believe it was Martha Stewart - and she was asked if it really made sense to watch these people for 13 weeks before picking the last person for the job. Interestingly enough, and this makes sense in hindsight, she actually preferred the concept of watching a person work over a long period of time before choosing them for the job.

Now, obviously this wouldn't be necessary for all positions, and is logistically impossible for large companies, but to see someone's work habitats and behavior over time before deciding to hire them would certainly tell you a lot more than an interview or two and a few letters of recommendations.
