Despecialized Edition: Help with burning to discs

Hi, I’m new to the forums. I’m trying to obtain a physical copy of the Despecialized Editions on DVD or Blu-ray. I downloaded all of them but I’m having such a difficult time trying to burn them onto a disc. I’ve gone through four different software programs and none have worked for me. Is it possible that someone who can burn them to send me a copy? I’m willing to pay. If anyone wants to, I can PM my address.

I am having this issue as well. After obtaining the DVD9 iso, I attempted to open it with VLC to no avail, and then tried to mount it with Alcohol 52%.

It gets mounted successfully, but Windows won't read it. It says:

Title: Disk is not formatted

Windows cannot read from this disk. The disk might be corrupted, or it could be using a format that is not compatible with Windows.

[OK]

Hi,

First off, I'd suggest looking through the How-To's and Technical Discussions forum for help with burning, etc. There is lots of good advice there, and people willing to answer questions. Second, have you tried burning the disc with IMGBurn? It's free and works well for many people.

Hope this helps. Welcome to the forum! =D

What can you get a Wookiee for (Life Day) Christmas when he already owns a comb?

Are you on Windows XP? If so, you will need to install a UDF 2.5 driver to be able to read AVCHD discs.

Also new to the Galaxy guys and also need some guidence with Harmys masterpiece!

Downloaded the  V2.0 MKV as well, and I'm having difficulty changing the container to mp4 to play on my AppleTV. I only want to remux and not use handbreak to transcode. i have had success doing so with many MKV's but for whatever reason the complexity of the video stream or incompatible audio streams seems to be giving SUBLER & MP4Tools a bit of a headache. Got an error stating there was 'overhead compression' with the file with MP4Tools, it prompted to fix and after it ran thru I hit convert and the end result had 2 audio streams (1 AAC, 1 AC3) in new mp4 container but thd file would not play. SUBLER barely has a result as the MP4 ends up being tiny?! Very weird for sure and wondered if anyone gas had any success with switching the container? Thanks Jim

Hey guys, thanks for the input! I actually found a different way altogether to burn the discs successfully. I downloaded ConvertXToDVD (you have to pay for the software though) and burned them all using dual layer DVD's. It worked but to make sure it's burned successfully, you have to set the burn speed setting to whatever disc you have (it'll say it on the box) and leave the computer alone when you're converting and burning it. I learned that the hard way the first few times when my discs kept freezing in certain scenes.
